The Principality of Monaco is located at the center of the Mediterranean arc, on the French Riviera coast between two French cities, near the Italian border. The country of Monaco is the second smallest country in the world right after the Vatican, with a surface of only 2 km². It counts five charming neighborhoods: Monaco-Ville, Monte-Carlo, La Condamine, Fontvieille and Les Moneghetti.
The Principality has been presided, for more than 7 centuries, by the Grimaldi Dynasty and is a hereditary and constitutional monarchy now under the highest authority of HRH Prince Albert II of Monaco. Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene have recently welcomed two new members of the royal family, the royal twins Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques. Prince Jacques is the 15th Prince of Monaco’s Rock and this happy moment has been announced by 42 canon shots resounding in all the country.
Monaco benefits from a temperate climate, and I can tell you the weather is great almost all year long. To enjoy and bask in all that sunshine, the Principality has two harbors to welcome some of the biggest and most luxurious yachts in the wolrd: Hercule port and Fontvieille port.
As for security, Monaco is one of the most secure places in the world with the lowest crime rate, an abundance of security cameras and one policeman for every 70 inhabitants. There are approximately 36,950 inhabitants in this country, which constitutes a very cosmopolitan and international mix.
Special thanks to Ermenegildo Zegna for the wonderful outfit that allowed me to capture Monaco with such style. A very classy and casual look at the same time, perfect for doing business during wintertime in Monaco, a look that I will describe in a dedicated article later on, elaborating further on all the items and accessories. Many thanks also to Mont Blanc Monaco for the refined and luxurious “Timewalker” watch that constituted a perfect combination.
