SUMMER 2021 GETAWAY?
VILLA LAS BRISAS
For some reason or another, I kept finding my way back to St. Tropez last year, maybe it’s the seemingly never-ending summer thanks to great weather, or perhaps the open space in comparison with Monaco.
Regardless, each time I go, I’m always lucky to spend some time in an stunning property, and together with Emilia from St Tropez House, we have chosen to present an extraordinary property, Villa Las Brisas located in Pampelonne Bay, actually very close to Villa AMA that we reviewed previously.
An exceptional place – available to rent during summer 2021 – Villa Las Brisas sits on a plot of 4000sqm, only 200m away from Pampelonne beach and your favorite beach clubs including Club 55 and Nikki Beach. The incredible panoramic view over Pampelonne Bay offers a unique experience and early mornings will be rewarded by exceptional and colorful sunrises, my favorite time to enjoy natural light during the day. The garden is home to a large infinity swimming pool facing the mediterranean offering the perfect spot for sunbathing.
The house itself is 650sqm and is comprised of 7 bedrooms and bathrooms, with an additional 2 of each for staff. The villa is filled with pastel-coloured furniture, adding warm tones throughout, with no stark colours anywhere inside. Several pieces of artwork from pop-artist Philip Colbert have been carefully scattered throughout the property, adding further dimension and character to an already vibrant atmosphere.
The pastel themed interior is modern by design, in keeping with the design language of the property itself, which I really love. Perhaps my favourite space is the terrasse attached to the large living room. A quiet place where you can sit comfortably and read one of the coffee table books or local travel guides from the library.
Venture a bit further and you’ll come across the gorgeous state-of-the-art kitchen. The perfect environment for preparing a feast yourself, or for a private chef – that choice is up to you! At the far end, there is indeed a wine cellar, so you can bring your favorite bottles along without any worries. As far as we are concerned, we have decided to enjoy a tasty breakfast by the pool concocted by the chef.
The property is also very welcoming of dogs, and we had plenty of fun playing out in the spacious garden with Luna, a gorgeous Samoyed. An additional bonus, so the whole family can come!
private GYM &
After spending a lot of time in the kitchen eating all the incredible food prepared by our chef, I began to feel guilty about missing a day in the gym! Thankfully for all the fitness enthusiasts out there (I like to include myself in that category), Villa Las Brisas has its own private gym and tennis court, located just a minute walk away from the main house.
I also had the chance to try the all-new Porsche 991, although admittedly the Mini Moke was a super fun alternative to drive thanks to its go-kart-like properties. Not to mention it’s the perfect runabout for St. Tropez. Bringing the cars was no problem as the villa has enough space for at least 6 of them, and nights out won’t present any issues as all of the best clubs in the area are within walking distance.
Naturally, there is an outdoor dining area ideal for hosting guests – friends or family – before heading up onto the terrace to watch the sunset. We ended up the evening with a glass of champagne under the stars enjoying the fresh air of the night. A trully dream location to experience, special thanks to Emilia from St Tropez House and I cannot wait to discover another amazing property from her portfolio!
